You may want to engage a planner, surveyor or other specialist early. They can help prepare an application and flag any issues.

3. Request a pre-application meeting with Council

Our planning staff can meet with you at the Council office in Ōtorohanga, or talk on the phone or by video, to discuss your proposal. They can help you understand whether a resource consent or building consent is likely to be needed.
