Rural Delivery

The rural delivery service is perfect for busy families in outlying rural areas of our district who find it tricky to come into Ōtorohanga township on a regular basis. For a fee the library can send a package of books weighing up to 25kg to your rural address. Use the online form below to request a rural delivery from the library.

Housebound Service

This service provides a free book selection and delivery service for library members who are unable to visit the library in person. It is offered to residents living within the town limits of Ōtorohanga and Kāwhia. Our rural service can cater to those outside of the township boundaries, see above.

Our library team carefully selects books, magazines, and audiobooks based on your preferences and delivers them directly to your home. We can also assist with downloading eBooks and audiobooks onto your device, ensuring you have access to great reads in a way that works for you.
