Local Water Done Well - Public Consultation Overview

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been out in the community sharing information, listening, and encouraging feedback on the future of our water services. Our consultation ran from 9 April to 6 May 2025.

This has been a significant piece of work. Every conversation played a part in raising awareness, building understanding, and encouraging community participation.

• 4 submissions received (including one individual who has requested to speak to Council)
• 116 Consultation Document downloads
• 36 Options Analysis downloads
• 98 views of the FAQs

Next steps in the process:

• 27 May - Submitters who have requested to speak will be heard by Council
• 10 June - Council will meet to consider all submissions and feedback
• 24 June - Council will make a final decision and adopt the model for our water services
