Over the past few weeks, we’ve been out in the community sharing information, listening, and encouraging feedback on the future of our water services. Our consultation ran from 9 April to 6 May 2025.
This has been a significant piece of work. Every conversation played a part in raising awareness, building understanding, and encouraging community participation.
Engagement snapshot:
- 4 submissions received (including one individual who has requested to speak to Council)
- 116 Consultation Document downloads

Next steps in the process:
- 27 May - Submitters who have requested to speak will be heard by Council
- 10 June - Council will meet to consider all submissions and feedback
- 24 June - Council will make a final decision and adopt the model for our water services
