Get Creative with STEM This Term 3!

Looking for something fun, hands-on, and a little bit different after school this winter? Our Term 3 STEM sessions are back, bringing creativity, problem-solving, and innovation together in two exciting weekly programmes designed especially for curious young minds.

Running throughout Term 3, these one-hour sessions take place after school from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, giving children a chance to explore, build, and experiment in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether your child loves inventing, designing, or figuring out how things work, there’s something here to spark their imagination.

Mondays: Makedo – Build, Create, Invent (Age 6+)
On Mondays, it’s all about hands-on construction using Makedo tools and recycled materials. Children will learn how to safely cut, connect, and create using everyday cardboard and other reusable items. From imaginative sculptures to functional designs, Makedo encourages kids to think like inventors while promoting sustainability and creative reuse. It’s amazing what can be built from a simple box!

Thursdays: LEGO Mindstorms – Code and Create (Age 9+)
Thursdays shift gears into the world of robotics with LEGO Mindstorms. These sessions introduce children to the basics of coding and engineering in a fun and engaging way. Participants will build their own robotic creations and bring them to life using simple programming. It’s a fantastic way to develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence with technology—all while having a great time.

Both sessions are designed for primary school-aged children and cater to a range of abilities. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to have a go and try something new!

Spaces are limited to ensure everyone gets plenty of support and hands-on time, so registrations are essential.
