Successful Applicants Creative Communities

CREATIVE COMMUNITIES SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MAY 2025

We are delighted to allocate funding through our Creative Communities Scheme
to support five new art projects within the Ōtorohanga District.

• Encore Singing Academy - to stage a showcase with a live pianist
• Janaya Waitere - to stage a weaving exhibition and skills expo
• Korakonui School - to run a series of children’s pottery classes with a guest ceramicist
• Rebecca Dowman Ngapō and the Ōtorohanga Creative Conduit - to subsidise school holiday art workshops
• Ōtorohanga Museum - to set up a creative ‘Kids Club’
