While Ōtorohanga District remains in a State of Emergency, Council continues to process Land Information Memorandum (LIM) applications within the statutory 10 working day timeframe under LGOIMA.

While Ōtorohanga District remains in a State of Emergency, Council continues to process Land Information Memorandum (LIM) applications within the statutory 10 working day timeframe under LGOIMA.
However, applicants should be aware that operational impacts may affect processing timeframes. This may include:
- Staff being temporarily redeployed to emergency response duties
- Increased demand for LIMs following recent events
- Additional verification of hazard information
- The need to incorporate updated property or safety information
While we are working to meet statutory deadlines wherever possible, some applications may take longer than usual.
LIMs issued during this period may include additional information such as safety placards or updated natural hazard details where applicable.
We appreciate your patience. For LIM enquiries, please contact 07 873 4000 or [email protected]
