We are receiving reports of the general public ignoring road closures and trying to travel through closed areas. There are still lots of slips and flooding on many roads in our district. Some road users are not adhering to the road closures and are ignoring staff. Not only is this dangerous, but it puts our roading crews at risk. Please do not do this. We are working with our roading contractors on getting an updated list of road closures and will share this as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
