Recycling Collection at Maihiihi School Update

Ōtorohanga District Council regrets to inform the community that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are currently unable to collect recycling from the facility at Maihiihi School. We understand this may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. 

In the meantime, residents can access alternative recycling facilities at:

✅ Korakanui School – Open 24 hours, seven days a week.
✅ EnviroNZ Facility (Progress Drive, Ōtorohanga) – Open Friday to Wednesday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Closed on Thursdays).

We sincerely apologise for the short notice and appreciate your cooperation. We will provide updates on the resumption of this service as soon as more information becomes available.
