We have planned to repair the top PE liner of the Huirimu Dug out from 21st to 22nd Nov 2024. The works will commence at the dug out on 21st November 2024 at 8am. The below planned work have been discussed with the Chairman of the Scheme.
Please see the arrangements and further details below.
- Ensure all water tanks are full to be able to continue your water usage requirements during this period.
- The water supply to the users will be pumped directly from the treatment plant pump station to the reticulation and the dugout will be by-passed which would allow it to be completely drained and repaired.
- We have done a trial to confirm that the above flow pathway will reach all the users in the scheme. However, the water supply will be intermittently turned off to protect assets from over pressurising (since it is pumped directly through the pump station).
- Normal water supply will be available from 8am to 6pm on Thursday and Friday and the dugout will resume its normal operation from 6pm on Friday.
- No water supply will be available from 6pm to 8am on Thursday (21st Nov) since we can not operate the pumpstation in the above flow path safely and reliably.
- The above planned work was discussed with the Chairman of the Scheme.
