An unsealed parking area will be constructed at the Philips Avenue end adjacent to the Stopbank Pathway, the Te Ara a Waiwaiā i O-rāhiri, to allow safe off-street vehicle parking for patrons. The parking area will be similar in size to the one that has been constructed at the Waipa Esplanade end of the pathway. The public is requested to adhere to any safety and traffic management instructions issued by the Contractor, Inframax Construction Ltd during the construction period.
With the addition of this parking area it will now be easier and safer to gain access to this popular and well patronised asset.
