ANZAC DAY ROAD CLOSURES - ŌTOROHANGA & KĀWHIA
To support ANZAC Day commemorations, temporary road closures will be in place on Saturday 25 April 2026 in Ōtorohanga and Kāwhia.

To support ANZAC Day commemorations, temporary road closures will be in place on Saturday 25 April 2026 in Ōtorohanga and Kāwhia.
ŌTOROHANGA
4.00am - 1.00pm
Maniapoto Street (SH3), Kakamutu Road, Gradara Avenue and surrounding streets will be closed during this time.
This will also affect traffic on SH3, SH31 and nearby local roads.
KĀWHIA
12.00pm - 2.30pm
Pouewe Street and Jervois Street will be closed, affecting access in and out of Kāwhia.
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
Please note: no detours will be in place - we recommend planning ahead and allowing extra travel time.
