BOOK NOW FOR THE PREMIERE OF AN INSPIRING FILM BY ŌTOROHANGA COLLEGE STUDENTS
Register now for free tickets to the premiere of a thought-provoking film made by Ōtorohanga College students. It's on Wednesday 21 October at 6pm at The Regent Theatre in Te Awamutu. The students worked with professional filmmakers, He Koniahi Story Circle, on the film. It features an authentic conversation with Ōtorohanga Dance Company owner Mel O'Brien.

The Fade Up 2 is a powerful, youth-led film created by five Ōtorohanga College students in partnership with professional filmmakers, He Koniahi Story Circle. The students were involved in every part of the process – developing the concept, asking the questions, filming and editing.
The film proves big conversations can start in small towns. It explores identity, expectations and what it means to dream big when you’re from a small town or rural area. The students are Blair Edwards, Karla Davey, Nicole Jones, Robert Markey Jones and Marua Davis.

They all say they got a huge amount out of the project
