Change of classification of reserve

Under the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, the Otorohanga District Council proposes to change the classification of Lot 21, DP 33307 of 209 square metres from a local purpose (access way) reserve to a local purpose (utility services) reserve.

Lot 21 is an ill-defined, narrow strip of land running from the end of Te Waireka Road downhill to Phillips Avenue. Its use as an access has long ceased since it was laid off for that purpose in 1947. Today the strip contains underground power cables associated with the adjacent Te Waireka Road electricity substation.

Objections, with reasons, to the change of classification must be lodged with the undersigned by Friday 13 December 2019.
