Sustainable Sewing Workshop with Sip & Sew.

A beginner friendly workshop (16yrs +) to start you on your journey to alter, repair and upcycle you and your family’s wardrobe.

Workshop Description

You will learn:

  • How to thread and sew basic stitches on the machine
  • A range of techniques to alter and repair your clothing
  • How we can keep textile waste from landfill

Included in this workshop:

  • Sewing machines and all tools and equipment needed
  • Tea, coffee and light refreshments

For you to bring along:

  • Uniforms
  • Kids clothing with holes
  • Pants that need hemming
  • Clothing with holes in the seams
  • Clothing with stitching that has come undone

While we will teach you some of the techniques and skills to start you on your journey, you may not complete all of your projects in this workshop.
