If you are unable to find the book or article you want, then we may be able to get it for you from another library. Interlibrary loan is a co-operative scheme where libraries in New Zealand and Australia lend books and other items to each other, and supply copies of articles.
There is a fee for this service to cover the return postage costs.

During the COVID19 pandemic, if you are at home isolating due to COVID19, you can get library books delivered to your home. Or you can get someone to collect a selection for you from the library. Contact us if you are interested in this service.
The library offers free Computer Mentoring sessions to help you get the most out of your device. You can make an appointment with a library staff member for a one on one session.
Free Stepping UP computer classes. In partnership with Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa, we offer free computer classes that aim to increase digital knowledgeably, with skills and confidence. To make a booking for any of these sessions please ask at the library
If you know someone who doesn’t have a broadband internet connection at home, get them to enquire about Skinny Jump at the Library.
If they’re eligible we’ll show them how to set up and use their Skinny Jump account and brand new modem.
This service is perfect for busy families in outlying rural areas of our district who find it tricky to come into Otorohanga township on a regular basis.
For a fee of $7.00 the library can send a package of books weighing up to 25kg to your rural address.
