Due to the Covid 19 lockdown, a number of community facilities, schools, early childhood centres, Marae and businesses may not have been occupied for a number of weeks, therefore the quality of drinking water sitting in pipes may not be up to the usual high safe standard. The Ministry of Health, and the Ministry for Business, Innovation & Employment have put out some useful guidelines and advice on how to flush out your buildings pipes before you return to your normal building activities.
