To recognise the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Government has decided that a one-off public holiday will occur on Monday 26th September.
• The Council office will be closed on Monday
• Libraries will be closed
• Transfer stations in Kāwhia and Ōtorohanga will be closed
• Kerb side pick-up will go ahead as usual in Kāwhia on Monday
• Ōtorohanga Swimming Pool, will be opening later from 12 pm- 6pm on Monday
