Long Term Plan

Every 3 years, the Council creates a Long Term Plan, or LTP, outlining the direction of the District over the next ten years.

The plan contains detailed information about the challenges facing the District, key areas of spending over the ten year period, activities provided by Council and how we will measure our performance against these, and our financial strategy for dealing with all these issues over the coming ten years.

2012-22 Long Term Plan

On 19th June 2012, the Council adopted the Longt Term Plan for the years from 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2022. A total of 12 submissions were received and considered by Council, with the changes resulting from these discussions reflected in the final document.
