Annual Plan

The Annual Plan is a planning document outlining Otorohanga District Council's plans for the year from 1 July to 30 June the following year.

It outlines what Council intends to do, and the costs of doing this.

Annual Plans are created in consultation with the public in the years between the Long Term Plan, which is created every three years.

Annual Report

The Annual Report is a summary of the performance of the Council for the preceding year.

District Plan

The District Plan governs rules and standards to manage subdivision and land use activities within the district.

Gambling Venue Policy Review 2017

 This policy controls the establishment and location of gaming machine venues and the number of gaming machines that may be operated. 

Local Easter Sunday Shop Trading Policy

This policy will enable shops to trade on Easter Sunday if they wish to.

Long Term Plan

 Every 3 years, the Council creates a Long Term Plan (LTP) outlining the direction of the District over the next ten years.

Regional Infrastructure Technical Specifications

This document sets out how to design and construct transportation, water supply, wastewater, stormwater and landscaping infrastructure in the district.

Roading Activity Management Plan

The roading activity management plan gathers together information on the assets for roading and identify any roading  management issues.

Traffic Bylaw 2005

 This bylaw covers how footpaths, parking and speed restrictions are governed within the District.  

Waste Management & Minimisation Plan

The purpose of this plan is to manage and minimise waste by recognising the need to focus efforts higher on reducing and recovering waste earlier it is life cycle, shifting focus away from treatment and disposal.
