KAWHIA BOAT RAMP FOR REPAIRS
Notice if hereby given that, for the purpose of carrying our repairs, the Kawhia Boat Ramp will be closed for the period indication hereunder:
TUESDAY, 2 MARCH TO FRIDAY 12 MARCH 2010
Should inclement weather be experienced the boat ramp will be open as soon as practical after that date.

PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROADS TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
ANZAC DAY COMMEMORATIONS
In accordance with the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the Otorohanga District Council, for the purpose of holding the Anzac Day Commemorations proposes to close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder:
SUNDAY, 25 APRIL 2010
STATE HIGHWAY 3 / MANIAPOTO STREET – from the northern entrance of Huiputea Drive to its intersection with Te Kanawa Street.
KAKAMUTU ROAD - from Maniapoto Street to its intersection with Turongo Street.
GRADARA AVENUE - from Kakamutu Road to its intersection with Summit Drive.
RANFURLY STREET - east end from its intersection with Maniapoto Street to end.
COWLEY LANE – entire length
WAHANUI CRESCENT – entire length
WHITTINGTON LANE – entire length
Period of Closures: 5.45am to 6.45am and 9.45am to 10.45am
Detour will be by way of Huiputea Drive.
Persons will be allowed through in the event of an emergency
Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and grounds thereof in writing before 4.00pm Friday 12 March 2010 at the offices of the Otorohanga District Council, 17 Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.
