Ian-d of a long road

It was the end of an era for Otorohanga District Council with the departure of engineering manager Ian Gooden recently.
Mr Gooden, who has worked with the council for the past nine years, handed in his resignation in April after he was offered the position 6f business manager for the Asset Services Group, part of Opus consultants.
Mr Gooden had his final day at the council on Wednesday, July 6 and is currently enjoying a brief holiday before beginning his new job.
Dave Clibberry, who was previously the council's services manager, has taken over the role of engineering manager.
