Aotea concerns

Last weekend the weather was beautiful so, knowing Aotea would be getting many drive-through visitors, we decided to drive through to Otorohanga and check out the Kiwiana Festival.
It was an awesome spectacle. The organisers can sure pat themselves on the back for that one.
The festival was opened by our honourable mayor Dale Williams, and when I saw he was there I thought I'd better air the concerns of the people of Aotea and our dusty road to him, seemed appropriate that he was made aware of our concerns, rather than it being left with the minions.
As it was, he had been kept informed, and I am happy to let the residents and ratepayers of Aotea know that the council will be sitting in a couple of weeks to discuss the finances for roading and Aotea will be high up on the list. Providing, he said, nothing more important comes up!
I can't think of anything more important than assisting a community to have clean air and water, and assisting in the general well being of emphysema sufferers in the community.
