• To maintain an association of persons interested in the Library and its services.

• To provide a forum for consultation between the Council (Councilors, Management, Librarians) and the users of the Library service.

• To extend the partnership between the Library and the Community.

• To promote the use of the meeting room as part of the Library centre.
